Simplistic

I’m not surprise, that the way I approach things is referrer as the simplistic. Is the way, I communicate with peers, friends and family. Well sometimes depending on the situation, I can go straight to the point. I think the way I approach things will help me to communicate some of my clients because they might communicate the same way. It can also interfere with other people because they might get frustrated, if I don’t go straight to the point. Anyways, sometimes when I’m trying to communicate I can be everywhere; I jump from one thought to another. Sometimes, it helps me reduce my anxiety and it can distract my audience, at least in public speaking.I guess, a little humor won’t hurt, right?

  1. Esperansa, I find it interesting that in my responses to the class blogs I have chosen two completely opposite thinkers. I think coming straight to the point is a good thing sometimes and then there are those moments we must be more sensitive and conscious about the way others may interpret what we are trying to communicate. I notice that I talk fast to my clients at times and then I look at their confused faces and apologize, repeat what I've said being more aware of their perspective and then make sure they understand. We're almost done with this semester, yeah! Enjoy your Thanksgiving.

  2. Sounds like we are similar in certain ways. I jump from one thought to another because life is not as simple as it seems. Things that seem to be false may have some truth in it. I find that writing down my thoughts helps me focus and return to the original topic of choice.
